Resurrections and Renovation Activities

Ashtamangalya Deva Prasnam was conducted twice during the last ten years, once under the leadership of Shri. Edavattom Parameswara Menon and Edavattom Gopi. The second prasnam was conducted under the leadership of Shri. Soolapani Warrier and Shri. P.G.Nambisan of Kozhikode. According resurrection work lasting 15 days was taken up. 

As a result of extensive enquiry and research conducted for four years by renowned thanthric acharya Shri. Vezhapparambu Parameswaran Namboothiri, the calculations used in the construction of the 1400 year old temple were found. The sanctum sanctorum was completely dismantled and reconstructed by two architects - Brahmamangalam Subramanian and Kailasan. Necessary changes were made in the construction of Sreekoil. Work on Valiyambalam and Balikkalpura has been completed while the construction of Nalambalam is now going on.
